About the designer:

Susan Marriner

RGD

Owner and designer, Susan Marriner has over 19 years of graphic design experience – including educational, freelance and studio work. She is an Algonquin College honours-graduate of the Graphic Design Program and a Registered Graphic Designer of Ontario (RGD).

Not only was Susan twice awarded winner of RGDs Design at Work competition, she has also been a part-time Graphic Design professor at Algonquin College.

From 2019 – early 2021, she served as an executive board member on the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce. One of her volunteer projects included a new branding initiative for the chamber. A new logo, business card and trade show banner helped bring a fresh awareness to the chamber and local business in 2019. Susan is currently a proud member of the North Dundas Chamber of Commerce.

As a part of the 100 Women Who Care North Dundas committee, Susan developed and maintains a website for both the 100 Women and 100 Men Who Care initiatives in North Dundas. During it’s first year, the committee was pleased to register 200 women within 36 hours of the online launch – twice as many as anticipated. $20,000 was awarded to local charities. The women’s yearly event is held in the spring, and the men’s is held every fall.

What is a Registered Designer?

Registered Graphic Designers are required to have a 3 year diploma in Graphic Design, and 7 years of industry work experience at the time of application.

After a portfolio review by established professionals and passing a written exam, they must abide by the laws of the association to bear the initials RGD.

Susan has been a member since January 2010.
